Mauritius Beaches 

Lets face it, Mauritius has its fair share of Paradise beaches! Those of you that were crafty enough to have booked a beachfront villa or apartment take first prize for being right on the beach. If you've booked across the road, make double sure you have private beach access or you might have to be content with a public beach which is often noisy on weekends.

Because not all beaches are equal we've come up with a list of what we think are the best beaches in Mauritius for their charm, cleanliness, white sand and great swimming. 

The sad news is that more and more of our coastlines are visibly facing the consequences of tourism. However on the brighter side there are still many places to visit which are still partly or fully untouched by mass tourism and where you may responsibly enjoy real paradise.
